So here we are. Plays have been enacted
我们已然至此，昔日的剧本历历在目
Empires have come and gone
帝国崛起、兴盛而又沉沦
The mightiest have passed away and withered alike the least.
人们一代代逝去，不分强弱
Fires have burned. Thousandfold.
兵燹更替，难以计数
Yet did not eh great wheel serenely continue its course?
可是滚滚向前的神圣巨轮何曾停歇？
Does not the blackbird still sing its song?
乌鸫鸟不还在鸣唱同一首老歌？
Does not the mistletoe still dwell in the oak's crown?
槲寄生不还生长在橡树之冠？
Forgotten what once has been told. Veiled the words that
传说皆已被遗忘，那些曾经响亮的言辞
Once rang out, shrouded, like the larva in its cocoon
如今都已呜咽失音，沉闷不语，亦如茧伏的虫儿
Let him hear it who will.
